“All Places No Place” is a collection of tracks inspired mainly by Ambient-Techno music.
Texture often presents few elements combined to convey a feeling of incompleteness and space. Rhythmic patterns tend to follow a regular pulse, synth drones serve to build a subterranean carpet that, at times, represents the main event, while melody is highlighted by a single voice that floats across lightly, almost alone and undisturbed.
Some points in the album work as small fractures that interrupt flow, creating brief pauses that serve to bring in a slight change of course from what it would be continuous stasis and a peaceful journey.
Not many relevant dramatic movements and changes are introduced throughout the tracks, while concentration can focus on each element for some time before a new context is given.
The music should provide tranquil listening by means of gentle sounds expressly manufactured to fashion a relaxing artificial environment to dive in.
Certain moments arise that seem to act as a decisive shift, while, soon, it all dissolves, and no particular resolution occurs.
